Green In Action (GIA)  is an NGO which was established in the year 2015 with the motivation to address climate change.

Our mission is to encourage support and promote environmental interventions for the purpose of improving participation and stewardship.

We are a  non-profit township development organization that works with communities to promote agricultural enterprises, gardening in homes, planting of fruit trees to improve food security, environment and improve the overall livelihood of our community.

We focus on raising awareness around natural disastrous which negatively impact on our communities

  

We interested in partnering with Private sector, NGO's, and Government a to find effective ways to fight poverty, food insecurity and opportunities to diversify township household livelihood strategies.

To realize the vision of a resilient, healthy and self-sustaining townships communities existing within localized economies,

To drive and accelerate stewardship with the environment  nation of resilient township farmer communities  that collaborate in vibrant and localized economies, in stewardship with their environment for the benefit of future generations.

 

We work with township communities, schools , forums in the area of Soweto forums, to support farmer agri-enterprises ,through our Smallholder Enterprise Development Initiative.
